Except in a few specialised circumstances, home working is not a practical solution. Head and sand comes to mind. Attitudes like that really are part of the problem. There's a real cultural barrier in the UK to home working (verses say the US where it's really taken off) that I find very hard to understand.

Is there any way to tell if the Ethernet cards are *really* working correctly? Yup; when you can actually make a connection. Other than that, nothing you have lying around in or around your computer. Neural Network problem!
